About Me

I am an award-winning author of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.

I began my career in the editorial department of Esquire Magazine, and then as an assistant at the Joy Harris literary agency. I pivoted into copywriting and brand strategy, working with entities like Google, MoMA, and Human Rights Commission, as I pursued my MFA in fiction at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.

My work has received fellowships from Pam Houston’s WritingXWriters, and the Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing. I am the recipient of the Maine Literary Award for short nonfiction, the Glascock Prize in Poetry, and the Katherine McFarland Prize for fiction. I have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and Best Microfictions.

Today, I freelance as an editor and organizational strategist, and am currently at work on my first book-length project. I live in the woods of Maine with my wild family, and very tame dog.
